+ Young Professionals are approximately 21 - 40 years old.
YP Mission Statement:
To develop the future leaders in our concrete community by offering interesting learning moments while networking and serving our community.
Main Objectives:
• Growth - both personal and professional
• Network - with piers & leaders in the concrete & construction communities
• Professional Development – leadership skills, time management, etc.
• Community - roll your sleeves up and help the concrete community
• Future - potential leaders as CPG Committee Members or Directors on the Board
What We Do:
• YP's are respected future leaders in your company (age 21 to 40-ish) with a strong future in our industry
• Variety of roles - cement sales, ready mix, contractors, engineers, affiliates, etc.
• Gain exposure from others in our industry and end up with long term professional relationships
• Field trips, technical events, fun team building activities, and concrete construction education
• Professional development
• Community service to the industry helping with the CPG Holiday/Awards Party and the Concrete Technology Course
• Bosses/Managers invited to the final "graduation" session - includes a fun event and networking
